Inside Mike Shinoda’s $9.5M Mediterranean villa at 90210, where he rests after performances with Linkin Park

It’s hard to believe that the man behind much of Linkin Park ‘s brooding metal artwork could live in such a sunny Mediterranean home.

The group’s co-founder, Mike Shinoda, is now ready to sell his stunning Beverly Hills, California mansion for $9.5 million. The 7,700 square meter house has had many famous people as owners.

Shinoda, a two-time Grammy Award winner, purchased the house for $7.4 million in 2008 from actor Tom Arnold , who had also purchased the house from choreographer and pop singer Paula Abdul . The home sits on three-quarters of an acre in the upscale Mulholland Estates neighborhood, where residents include model Kendall Jenner , pop singer Christina Aguilera and “Wheel of Fortune” icon Vanna White .

You enter the seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home through a circular foyer with double-height ceilings and a curved stone staircase with wrought-iron balustrades.

The living room features brown painted walls, large French windows and a stone fireplace. Not to be outdone, the dining room is lined with gold brocade wallpaper. The kitchen features an impressive list of modern amenities combined with timeless elegance like farmhouse sinks, glass cabinets and marble countertops.
