One of Patrick Mahomes’s sеcrеt talents—matchmaking—has been unveiled.

The 28-year-old quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs discussed his involvement in the romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift during his recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

Taking a little credit is something Mahomes enjoys doing, he added. “I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert when the friendship bracelet [idea came up]. He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker.”

“I had some input in there as well. I was like, ‘Dude, you should go for it. Just go for it.’ And you know Travis, man. He does it. He’s a great dude,” Mahomes added. “I’m glad that it’s all worked out for the best.”

 

In an episode of his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce from July 2023, Kelce, who is 34 years old, discussed his attempts to put the plan into action.

While at a Taylor Swift performance, he received several friendship bracelets and wаnted to offer one to the singer with his phone number, he said to his brother and co-host Jason Kelce.The football tight end claims that he was unable to meet with Swift at that time “because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.”
