Mike Shinoda Unveils Deluxe Vinyl Reissue of ‘Post Traumatic’ Album with Bonus Tracks: Get Ready for a Deep Dive into Healing this Summer!

The set will be available on 2 LPs this summer

Grammy Award-winning musician and recording artist Mike Shinoda announces a deluxe vinyl reissue of his second solo album, Post Traumatic. The project is a deeply personal solo album from Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda, recorded in the months following the death of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington.

Originally released in June 2018, the 16-track album includes three songs from the Post Traumatic EP released earlier that year, as well as the singles “Crossing A Line” and “Make It Up As I Go.” This 18-track deluxe vinyl reissue of Post Traumatic includes two bonus tracks – “Prove You Wrong” and “What The Words Meant”. Both songs were originally released as limited edition 10-inch singles and added to the digital album.

Despite its title, Post Traumatic – which includes collaborations with K.Flay, Blackbear, Machine Gun Kelly, Chino Moreno of Deftones, and Grandson – is an album about healing. The songs speak specifically to Shinoda’s experience of loss, but are still relatable to everyone, thanks to their honesty and heart.

The 2-LP deluxe vinyl box set will be released on June 14 in three formats, including black vinyl, limited edition orange vinyl, and limited edition Zeotrope picture disc.

Linkin Park could reunite next year. Billboard reports that Linkin Park is planning a 2025 reunion tour with a female singer to succeed the late Chester Bennington. The group’s booking agency, WME, said it had received offers to see Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Dave Farrell reunite as vocalists for a headlining tour and festival dates.

Shinoda recently told Revolver: “The rumors are always flying around. People are always asking what’s next for the band, and the best answer I can give to anyone is that when there’s something to tell you, we’ll tell you. When an announcement is made, it will be available on LinkinPark.com. If you hear it from someone else, you can trust that information as much as you want.

Linkin Park recently released their first career-spanning collection, Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023). The project topped several charts, landing at number one on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart and the Top Vinyl Albums chart, as well as debuting at number two on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. Top Album Sales and Top 10 on the Billboard 200 at number 6.
