Cristiano Ronaldo drops multi millions on ‘Billionaire’s Island’ mansion to enjoy with his family

To his already impressive real estate holdings, Cristiano Ronaldo has now added a megamansion to ‘Billionaires Island’ in Dubai.

‘Billionaires Island’ is actually Jumeirah Bay Island, and it is a private enclave in Dubai inhabited exclusively by the ultra-wealthy.

Bloomberg reports that the Portuguese icon will commence residing in his new mega-mansion in 2024.

It appears that Cristiano Ronaldo will have no trouble adjusting to Billionaires Island.

Forbes estimates his net worth to be around $136 million; furthermore, he has no qualms about frivolously spending his hard-earned cash.

The center forward recently returned to Madeira, Portugal in order to buy a Porsche for his mother’s birthday celebration.

And when Ronaldo invited his friend Luan Santana, a Brazilian singer, to perform at his New Year’s celebration, he presented him with a Rolex watch worth $40,000.

Concerning the mega-mansion, its exact dimensions remain undisclosed; however, conjecture suggests that its price ranged among tens of milliоns of euros.

In context, a distinct residence listed for purchаse on Billionaires Island encompasses an area of 30,000 square meters and features the following amenities: six bedrooms, private beach access, a seven-car garage, a spa, a swimming pool overlooking downtown Dubai, and on-site staff quarters.

It should come as no surprise that the number of billionaires residing per square kilometer there is reportedly the highest of any location in the UAE, hence the nаme “Billionaires Island.”

According to Bloomberg, the island has fast become home to wealthy Saudis, Israelis, Indians and Russians in the short time since it opened in 2017.

During the early stages of the pаndemic, a developer reportedly began to scооp up parts of the land on the secluded, seahorse-shaped Jumeirah Bay Island.

After several years of construction, 10 mega-mansions have been built, with Dubai-based developer, Palace Luxury Living, revealing the villas were expected to fetch $545 million in total, averaging out at $54.5 million per property.

The island, which is part of a gated community, includes several fine-dining restaurants, a yacht club and beach resort, while also directly facing the open sea and famous Burj Khalifa building.

What’s more, some of the wealthy individuals who don’t own properties on the island still use it as a base, staying in the aforementioned luxury resort during their visits to Dubai.

It’s expected that Cristiano Ronaldo will spend time at his new mega-mansion with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and his five children, with a flight from Riyadh, where he’s based in Saudi Arabia, taking just two hours.
