Linkin Park premiered a previously unreleased song, “Friendly Fire”, a collaboration with the late Chester Bennington .
The group shared the teaser of the song on social media. The song is taken from the band’s rehearsals for their final album, One More Light , released just two months before Bennington’s suicide in 2017.
The 30-second teaser features Bennington’s vocals as he sings: “We fall apart for no reason/We pull the trigger on a futile war/If we turn around and go dark/What are we fighting for?” /Why are we who we’re fighting?/It’s just friendly fire.”
Linkin Park has not yet confirmed the song’s release date.
