Inside Kobe Bryant’s $44 million Los Angeles mansion there is a basketball court and an underground car showroom

A 54,885 square foot mansion was recently purchased by venture capitalist Jeffrey Feinberg for $44 million – a price that far exceeds the property’s original asking price of $43 million – in a transaction off-market. What makes it valuable? First, the home has plenty of amenities, especially for those who love sports, including a half-basketball court, a three-hole putting green, a swimming pool, and a spa. It’s also the latest offering from local developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati of Huntington Estate Properties, who has incorporated one of his signature amenities into the space: a rooftop cannabis garden.

“As soon as you step into this beauty, you’ll feel like you’re on vacation,” Nosrati told Robb Report. This is a very exclusive position; The home is located on a secluded 1.2 acre lot in Brentwood, with views of the nearby Getty Museum. There is a guest house for visitors on site as well as a driveway leading to the basement.

Would you like to take a closer look at the excavations for yourself? Robb Report was given an exclusive tour of Nosrati, which showed off all of the home’s luxurious features:

Inside, the mansion features a very open floor plan, with large glass walls symbolizing contemporary California architecture. The great room has 26-foot ceilings and the dining room has a view of the kitchen through a two-sided 1,000-gallon aquarium. These more natural elements continue at the base of the stairs, where there is a cactus garden and a living wall of plants and succulents.

For larger gatherings, there is a second, more separate chef’s kitchen above the open kitchen with its own entrance from the outside. It even has its own walk-in refrigerator that looks like it came straight out of a bustling restaurant.

Because the walls are entirely glass, all of the first floor living and dining spaces overlook the lawn, which includes an infinity pool and lounge area. Guests can prepare meals in the outdoor kitchen, which has its own pizza oven, barbecue and LED TV.

The lower level is where most of the expensive equipment is located, starting with the projection room, also known as the Rolls-Royce Theater. According to Nosrati, the small lights on the ceiling are modeled after the fiber optic lights on Rolls-Royce cars, hence their name.

For athletes, there’s an “all-sport simulation room” where you can play games like golf on courses around the world, albeit virtually. Next door, the indoor spa has a pool with jets that create a current you can swim against for a workout, as well as a hot tub that converts into a cold plunge pool. Water can rain from the ceiling on command – the house is fully automated – creating a waterfall-like effect. During long days of weightlifting, double massage rooms are available to relax you.

The main game room, or “fun cave,” according to Nosrati, has a video wall with nine TVs, all of which can be tuned to the same channel or showing completely different shows. Next door is a barbershop where you can get your hair cut (just a few steps from the bar, which can be a recipe for a few bad haircuts) and a 10-car showroom, so those partygoers can admire the owner’s collection while partying. .

Outside is a “legendary” basketball court, inspired by Kobe Bryant and sporting his purple and gold Lakers jersey as well as his jersey number, 24. Other big stars of the game sporting the border, including Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan, LeBron James and more. Because they are located on a floating deck, athletes can enjoy panoramic views of the city while throwing hoops.

The house has not one but three floors. Two rooms are located on the second floor, one for relaxing, the other for playing more since it is a three-hole putting green. The last space is the roof terrace, where there is a garden with six cannabis plants. “I believe this is the future,” Nosrati said. “You see a lot of wine cellars and different things around the house – this is where you grow your own cannabis.” According to the Wall Street Journal, Feinberg opted to replace the heads with carrots and cucumbers before closing the deal.

Finally, the master bedroom has double wardrobes and a walk-in bathroom, as well as a private balcony from which you can enjoy the view below. Of course, the only downside to this asset is that it is no longer worth taking.

Branden and Rayni Williams of Beverly Hills Estates, Shauna Walters and Sally Forster Jones of Compass and Matt and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman represented Nosrati in the deal.
